Baseball Downed by SUNY Cobleskill in NAC Tournament
COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team absorbed an 18-10 setback at SUNY Cobleskill Friday afternoon to bow out of the North Atlantic Conference Tournament. The Lions conclude the 2024 campaign with a 13-21-1 overall record.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene chalked up three runs in the top of the first inning to establish an early 3-0 advantage.
- The Lions plated a pair of runs in the second to extend their lead to 5-0.
- Eastern Nazarene tacked on one run in the third inning to stretch the gap to 6-0 as Ruddy Vidal (Barahona, Dominican Republic) launched a solo home run.
- SUNY Cobleskill produced three runs in the home half of the third to cut the deficit to 6-3.
- The Lions picked up a run in the fourth inning to grab a 7-3 edge.
- The Fighting Tigers tallied two runs in the fifth to trim the margin to 7-5.
- SUNY Cobleskill generated seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to jump ahead 12-7.
- The home side added five runs in the seventh frame to widen its lead to 17-7.
- The Fighting Tigers scored once in the eighth to push their advantage to 18-7.
- Eastern Nazarene manufactured three runs in the top of the ninth but ultimately fell 18-10.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) finished with three hits, two runs scored, and one RBI.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) added three base hits and scored two runs.
- Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) notched three base knocks and one run scored.
- Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) and Ruddy Vidal (Barahona, Dominican Republic) both recorded two hits, one RBI, and one run scored.
- Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) chipped in with a pair of hits, two RBIs, and one run scored.
- Liam Bruskewicz (Granite Springs, N.Y.) started on the mound and pitched four innings. Kelvin Cortez (Corona, N.Y.) worked one inning of relief and posted one strikeout. Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) tossed 1.2 innings and registered two strikeouts. Anthony Ventura (La Romana, Dominican Republic), Colby Rohr (Highland Village, Texas), and Paul Foster (North Billerica, Mass.) also made relief appearances.
