Women’s Cross Country Races at Emmanuel Saints Invitational
BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's cross country team placed 15th at the Emmanuel College Saints Invitational Friday afternoon at Franklin Park.
Karen Diaz (Gaithersburg, Md.) paced the Lions with a time of 22:55 on the 5K course.
Jael Bourque (Nashua, N.H.) crossed the finish line in 23:58 while Dezirae Maffit (Aurora, Ill.) posted a mark of 24:34.
Noelle Rudeen (San Gabriel, Calif.), Eileen Hernandez (Rochester, N.Y.) and Sarah Iheduru (Providence, R.I.) also represented Eastern Nazarene.
Norwich claimed the team title while New England College's Allison Granata bested the field with a time of 19:37.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will cap off the 2016 campaign October 29 at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships held at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts.
