
Women’s Volleyball Sweeps SUNY Morrisville, Advances to NAC Championship
QUINCY, Mass.- The No. 1 seed Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team topped second-seeded SUNY Morrisville 3-0 in the North Atlantic Conference West Division finals Sunday afternoon at the Lahue Athletic Center. With the win, the Lions advance to the North Atlantic Conference Tournament championship November 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene claimed the first set 25-17 to snag a 1-0 lead.
- The Lions edged the Mustangs 25-23 in the second frame to extend their advantage to 2-0.
- Eastern Nazarene wrapped up its 11th consecutive win with a 25-13 victory in the third.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) registered a team-high 13 kills on the day.
- Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) posted 10 kills and 12 digs.
- Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) dished out 35 assists and added 12 digs.
- Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) notched nine kills while Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) finished with 11 digs, six kills, and three blocks.
- Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) chipped in with 11 digs in the match.
- Emily Huppee recorded a match-best 18 kills to lead SUNY Morrisville. Hannah Taylor tallied 28 assists while Kayla Sheasby racked up 17 digs.
NAC TOURNAMENT:
The No. 1 seed from both divisions advanced to the North Atlantic Conference championship match. Eastern Nazarene will travel to Maine Maritime November 11 for the NAC championship. The Lions are making their fifth consecutive trip to the conference championship match while the Mariners have reached 15 straight NAC finals.
