
Women’s Volleyball Scores First Win Over Roger Williams Since 2006, Triumphs 3-1 in Regular-Season Finale
BRISTOL, R.I.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team rattled off a 3-1 victory at Roger Williams Wednesday evening in the final regular season contest. The result marks the Lions' first win over the Hawks since 2006 and snaps a streak of 11-conescutive losses against Roger Williams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Roger Williams posted a 25-14 victory in the first set as Eastern Nazarene fell behind 1-0.
- The Lions responded with a 25-14 win in the second frame to knot the match at 1-1.
- Eastern Nazarene captured the third 25-15 to seize a 2-1 edge.
- The visitors prevailed 25-16 in the fourth set to claim their 27th all-time win over the Hawks.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) paced the Lions with 18 kills to go with five digs.
- Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) notched 31 assists, 14 digs, and five service aces.
- Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) finished with nine kills while Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) added eight kills and seven digs.
- Taylor Joyner led Roger Williams with 11 kills while Kaylee Jackson chipped in with eight kills and 13 digs.
