Women’s Volleyball Wraps Up NAC Slate with Wins Over SUNY Delhi, SUNY Poly

DELHI, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team posted a pair of 3-0 victories Sunday afternoon to conclude North Atlantic Conference regular-season action with a 10-0 league record. The Lions defeated SUNY Delhi 3-0 before sweeping SUNY Poly to finish atop the NAC West Division standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED:                              

• The visitors captured the first set 25-12 to construct a 1-0 lead.
• Eastern Nazarene cruised to a 25-6 win in the second frame to widen the gap to 2-0.
• The Lions triumphed 25-17 in the third to chalk up their ninth conference win of the year.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) notched a match-best 12 kills to go with seven digs.
• Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) finished with seven kills, five digs, and three aces.
• Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) posted a match-high 16 digs while adding five kills and four service aces.
• Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) registered 23 assists and nine digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:                              

• Eastern Nazarene rolled to a 25-10 victory in the opening frame.
• The Lions claimed the second set 25-15 to extend their advantage to 2-0.
• Eastern Nazarene prevailed 25-16 in the third frame to earn its 15th straight-sets victory of the season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) paced the Lions with 13 digs, 10 kills, and five aces.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) tallied a career-high four kills while adding 14 assists and nine digs.
• Morgan Bruner (Litchfield, N.H.) chipped in with four kills, four digs, and three blocks.
• Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) recorded 10 digs, two kills, and two service aces.
