Women’s Volleyball Cruises Past SUNY Poly, SUNY Cobleskill Saturday

UTICA, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team rolled to a pair of 3-0 victories over SUNY Poly and SUNY Cobleskill Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:                              

• The Lions claimed the first set 25-13 to establish a 1-0 lead.
• Eastern Nazarene coasted past SUNY Poly 25-9 in the second frame to widen the gap to 2-0.
• The visitors triumphed 25-17 in the third to lock up their 13th-straight conference win.

• Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) paced the Lions with 11 digs and nine kills.
• Peyton Chestnut (Mount Dora, Fla.) racked up a career-high nine kills.

• Eastern Nazarene breezed by SUNY Cobleskill 25-6 in the opening frame to construct a 1-0 advantage.
• The Lions notched a 25-13 victory in the second set to double their lead to 2-0.
• Eastern Nazarene chalked up a 25-13 win in the third to wrap up its 10th sweep of the season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) registered a team-high nine kills.
• Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) posted seven kills while Piper Bolner (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) tallied a season-high six kills.
• Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) finished with 28 assists, nine digs, and four aces.
