Women’s Volleyball Edges Wellesley in Five-Set Thriller
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team wrapped up Homecoming weekend with an exhilarating 3-2 victory over Wellesley Saturday night at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The home side posted a 25-17 win in the first set to seize a 1-0 lead.
- Eastern Nazarene eked out a 27-25 victory in the second to extend its advantage to 2-0.
- The Blue battled back to claim the third frame 25-17 to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- Wellesley prevailed 25-22 in the fourth set to level the match at 2-2.
- The Lions clawed back to capture the decisive fifth set 15-9 to seal their 12th victory of the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) posted a team-best 18 kills.
- Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) notched a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs while adding three aces.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs to go with four aces.
- Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) racked up 43 assists and 17 digs.
- Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) collected 11 digs and Nareichka Melendez (Worcester, Mass.) registered eight digs.
- Kate Giang chalked up a match-high 20 kills to lead Wellesley while Mary Beeler chipped in with 12 kills and 15 digs.
