Siliezar, Pierce Claim NAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine- Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) and Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team repeated as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, as the league office announced its weekly awards Monday.

Siliezar tallied 11 kills and three digs in a 3-0 win over St. Joseph's (L.I.) and added six kills and two blocks as the Lions topped Emmanuel 3-0.

Pierce collected 11 digs in Eastern Nazarene's 3-0 victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.) before registering seven digs in the Lions' 3-0 win over Emmanuel.

Eastern Nazarene boasts an 8-0 record on the season with a 1-0 mark in conference play. The Lions travel to Suffolk September 19.
