Women’s Volleyball Sweeps NAC Weekly Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team swept the North Atlantic Conference weekly awards as Shantte Siliezar (Puerto Cortes, Honduras) was named the NAC Player of the Week and NAC Rookie of the Week while Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) was tabbed the NAC Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Siliezar racked up 37 kills, 17 digs, and five blocks in her first three collegiate appearances. She notched 20 kills and added 11 digs in the Lions' 3-1 victory over Oneonta.

Pierce posted 28 digs as Eastern Nazarene claimed three wins at the Skidmore Classic. She also chipped in with 14 assists and five aces.

Eastern Nazarene boasts a 6-0 record on the season with a 1-0 mark in conference play. The Lions return home to battle Lasell September 12.
