Women’s Volleyball Blanks Western New England in Season-Opener, 3-0
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Western New England Friday night at the Lahue Athletic Center in the ENC Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions rolled to a 25-11 win in the opening frame to capture a 1-0 advantage.
- Eastern Nazarene doubled its lead to 2-0 in the match with a 25-18 victory in the second set.
- The home side prevailed 25-17 in the third to lock up its first sweep of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) posted a match-best 11 kills.
- Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) notched a team-high 11 digs and added nine kills.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain) registered seven kills, six digs, and three blocks.
- Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) chalked up 23 assists, nine digs, and seven service aces.
- Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I.) collected five digs and dealt five aces in her collegiate debut while Nareichka Melendez (Worcester, Mass.) chipped in with eight digs in her debut.
- Isabelle Petty paced Western New England with five kills while Becca Mayer and Liz Long both recorded nine digs.
