Women’s Volleyball Clipped by No. 15 Wesleyan (Conn.) in NCAA Tournament Thursday Night
MIDDLETOWN, Conn.- Making its third-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team fell to No. 15 Wesleyan (Conn.) 3-0 Thursday evening in the opening round. The setback snaps the Lions' 16-match winning-streak as Eastern Nazarene ends the 2022 campaign with a remarkable 23-2 overall record.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wesleyan captured the first set 25-17 to establish a 1-0 lead.
- The Cardinals doubled their advantage to 2-0 with a 25-14 win in the second frame.
- Wesleyan prevailed 25-18 in the third to advance to the NCAA Tournament second round to face Williams.

- Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) paced the Lions with 11 kills on the night.
- Andrea Aceituno (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and Halle Julian (Whitman, Mass.) both notched eight kills and four digs.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain) chipped in with seven kills.
- Telma Zelaya (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) registered 34 assists.
- Fiona Shaw (Whitinsville, Mass.) collected a team-high seven digs while Amya Altman (Butler, Pa.) finished with six digs and a pair of aces.
