Women’s Volleyball Notches 3-0 Victory at St. Joseph’s (Maine) Tuesday

STANDISH, Maine- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team prevailed 3-0 at St. Joseph's (Maine) Tuesday evening in the final regular-season road contest.

The Lions elevate to 14-10 on the year with the win while the Monks fall to 8-19 overall.

Emma Graves (Berkshire, N.Y.) posted a team-high 14 kills to go with four blocks. Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) finished with 12 kills and five digs. Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) dished out 27 assists and added eight digs. Amya Altman (Butler, Pa.) tallied 11 digs while Jessica Caldwell (Quincy, Mass.) chipped in with 10 digs.

The visitors established a 1-0 advantage with a 25-18 victory in the first set.

Eastern Nazarene widened the gap to 2-0 after claiming the second frame 25-19.

The Lions triumphed 25-21 in the third to lock up their first win over St. Joseph's since 2006.

Hanna Webster paced the Monks with nine kills and added 11 digs. Hanna Holden registered 23 assists, 13 digs, and three kills.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene wraps up the regular season October 30 with a pivotal conference clash against Mitchell at the Lahue Athletic Center.
