BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory at Suffolk in a closely-contested non-conference clash Saturday afternoon.
The Lions climb to 6-5 overall with the win while the Rams fall to 5-6 on the season.
Emma Graves (Berkshire, N.Y.) chalked up a match-best 14 kills to go with four total blocks. Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) posted team-high 12 digs and added six kills. Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) notched 26 assists.
The guests triumphed 25-21 in the opening frame to garner a 1-0 lead.
Eastern Nazarene eked out a 25-23 win in the second set to extend its advantage to 2-0.
The Lions prevailed 25-22 in the third to secure their fifth-straight victory.
McKenna Keowen tallied 13 kills to pace Suffolk while Kenzley Bell recorded 15 digs and Harmony Johnson dished out 15 assists.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene travels to UMass Dartmouth September 21.
