Women’s Volleyball Powers Past Emmanuel, 3-0

QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team coasted to a 3-0 win over Emmanuel Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

The Lions elevate to 5-5 on the season with the victory while the Saints slide to 0-2.

Eliana Baran (Beaumont, Calif.) posted a match-high 11 kills to go with six digs. Emma Graves (Berkshire, N.Y.) finished with eight kills and three total blocks while Anna Burbach (Milford, N.H.) chipped in with six kills. Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) notched 16 assists and eight digs on the night.

The home team rolled to a 25-7 decision in the opening set to claim a 1-0 advantage.

Eastern Nazarene widened the gap to 2-0 with a 25-17 win in the second frame.

The Lions locked up their fourth-straight victory with a 25-13 decision in the third set.

Sasha Hyacinthe and Kerry Shea paced Emmanuel with four kills each on the evening while Tatiana Correia collected six digs.

Looking ahead, Eastern Nazarene heads to Beantown to battle Suffolk September 18.
