
Women’s Track & Field Opens Season at Bridgewater State Invitational
BRIDGEWATER, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's track and field team participated at the Bridgewater State Invitational for its first meet of the season Saturday.
Four student-athletes represented Eastern Nazarene at the meet.
Sandrid Louis (Coconut Creek, Fla.) competed in the shot put and discus throw while Karla Polanco (Methuen, Mass.) participated in the shot put for the Lions.
Timiera Toland (Baltimore, Md.) and Nadine Borges (Palmarejo-Baixo Praia, Cape Verde) represented Eastern Nazarene in the 100 meter dash.
Northeastern University garnered first place at the meet among the 17 teams that competed.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will compete at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic March 30.
