Women’s Track & Field Takes Part in Trinity College Invitational Saturday
HARTFORD, Conn.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's track and field team competed at the Trinity College Invitational Saturday.
In their third meet of the season, the Lions were represented by eight student-athletes.
Joanna Joseph (Brockton, Mass.) claimed a sixth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 9.88 meters.
Michelle Detwiler (Elkhart, Ind.) finished 18th in the long jump with a leap of 4.14 meters and also competed in the 100-meter dash as well as the high jump on the day.
Karen Diaz (Gaithersburg, Md.), Jael Bourque (Nashua, N.H.), and Dezirae Maffit (Aurora, Ill.) all ran in the 5,000-meters for Eastern Nazarene while Eileen Hernandez (Rochester, N.Y.), Sabrina Barreto (Hyde Park, Mass.), and Moesha Daniel (Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago) raced in the 100 meter dash.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will head to Roger Williams for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships April 29.
