Sofia Rojas Named NAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

WATERVILLE, Maine- Junior Sofia Rojas (Medellin, Colombia) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's tennis team has been selected as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week, announced the league office Tuesday.

Rojas collected a pair of victories to help the Lions top Salem State 7-2 in the first match of the 2023 campaign.

She earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at the No. 1 singles position and partnered with Sara Poletto (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) to post an 8-2 victory at the top doubles spot.

Eastern Nazarene returns to the courts September 5 to visit Bridgewater State.
