Women’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team garnered its ninth United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award after posting a team grade-point average of 3.28 in the 2023-24 academic year. Head coach Jim Lipocky's squad picked up the honor for the second-consecutive year.
The Lions had four Academic All-North Atlantic Conference honorees last fall: Mackenzie Quick, Elaina Richards, Rylan Tinjum, and Delaney Walker.
A total of 241 collegiate women's soccer programs across the nation were recognized for their academic success in 2023-24. For a team to be considered for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, it must have a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members who appear on the official NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA or junior college roster forms for the fall season.
The Lions collected the honor in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2023.
