Women’s Soccer Concludes Season with 4-0 Loss at Morrisville

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Morrisville in the final regular season contest Sunday afternoon.

Records: Lions (1-11-4, 1-3-2 NAC) | Mustangs (5-7-2, 3-1-2 NAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Morrisville snagged a 1-0 edge in the fifth minute.
  • The Mustangs added a tally in the 16th minute to stretch their lead to 2-0.
  • Morrisville found the back of the net in the 33rd minute to carry a 3-0 advantage into the halftime intermission.
  • The home team tacked on a goal in the 54th minute to extend the margin to 4-0.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Goalkeepers Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) posted 10 saves in her fifth start of the year.
  • The Lions produced 13 shots in the match while the Mustangs manufactured 22 attempts on the day.
  • Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) paced Eastern Nazarene with seven shots. Leah Saunders (Smithfield, R.I.) fired three shots and Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.) finished with two attempts.
