Women’s Soccer Falls at Gordon Thursday

WENHAM, Mass. - The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team absorbed a 9-1 loss at Gordon Thursday evening in a match that was suspended on September 6.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Gordon rattled off eight goals in the first half to hold an 8-0 advantage when the contest was halted.
  • The Fighting Scots tallied a goal in the opening minutes of the second stanza to widen the margin to 9-0.
  • Eastern Nazarene got on the board in the 64th minute as Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) netted her team-leading sixth marker of the year.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Goalkeepers Sabrina Nassar (Suwanee, Ga.) and Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) each played one half of the match.
