Women’s Soccer Drops 3-1 Decision at Maine-Farmington

FARMINGTON, Maine - The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team fell 3-1 at Maine-Farmington in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Beavers snagged a 1-0 edge in the 20th minute. Audrey Fletcher bagged her team-best 11th goal of the season as Abby Lash picked up an assist.
• Maine Farmington doubled their lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute. Hannah Wilbur collected her second tally of the year, heading in a corner kick from Emily Boyle.
• Eastern Nazarene got on the board in the 66th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1. Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) netted her team-leading fifth marker of the fall while Kenna Cruise (Fairhaven, Mass.) registered her team-leading fifth assist.
• The home team reclaimed a two-goal advantage with a strike in the 72nd minute, 3-1. Grace Mahmoud notched her second goal of the season off of a feed from Audrey Fletcher.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Goalkeeper Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) posted eight saves in her fourth start of the season.
• The Lions concluded the contest with six shots while the Beavers generated 19 attempts.
• The hosts held a narrow 4-3 edge in corner kicks earned.
