Women’s Soccer Bested at UMass-Boston Monday Night

BOSTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision at UMass-Boston Monday evening.


THE BASICS:

Records: Lions (1-5-3) | Beacons (5-3-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • UMass-Boston tallied five goals in the opening half as four different players found the back of the net.
  • The Beacons added three scores in the second stanza to collect their second-straight win.


INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Goalkeeper Sabrina Nassar (Suwanee, Ga.) racked up 12 saves on the night.
  • The Lions produced six shots in the contest while the Beacons manufactured 29 attempts.
  • Bia de Oliveira Segato (Malden, Mass.) and Leah Saunders (Smithfield, R.I.) each fired two shot attempts.
