Women’s Soccer Posts 1-1 Tie at Mass. Maritime

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team chalked up a 1-1 tie at Massachusetts Maritime Academy Wednesday evening.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Eastern Nazarene snagged a 1-0 lead in the 61st minute. Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.) knocked in her first goal of the season while Kenna Cruise (Fairhaven, Mass.) collected her team-leading fourth assist of the year.
• The Buccaneers netted the equalizer in the 87th minute to tie the match at 1-1. Ayla Santoro tucked in her second tally of the fall off of an assist from Abigail Lelievre.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Goalkeeper Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) finished with nine saves in her second start of the campaign.
• The Lions produced 11 shots in the contest while Mass. Maritime racked up 14 attempts.
• Leah Saunders (Smithfield, R.I.) paced Eastern Nazarene with three shot attempts.
