Women’s Soccer Stymied at Lesley in NECC Semifinals
LEXINGTON, Mass.- The No. 4 seed Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 setback at top-seeded Lesley Thursday evening in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two teams headed into the halftime intermission deadlocked at 0-0 after Lesley owned a 26-1 advantage in shots through 45 minutes of play.
- The Lynx claimed a 1-0 edge in the 52nd minute. Haile Carrillo-Hayes netted her seventh goal of the season off of an assist from Abby Kalou.
- Lesley doubled its advantage to 2-0 in the 53rd minute. Ariana Bunch collected her first tally of the year as Sacha Porter notched her sixth assist.
- The home side tacked on its third score of the second stanza in the 63rd minute. Sophia Massucco buried her first marker of the fall while Bunch picked up her second assist of the season.
- The Lynx added a goal in the 65th minute to stretch the gap to 4-0. Carrillo Hayes chalked up her second goal of the game and seventh of the year and Kalou registered her second assist of the match.
- Lesley extended its lead to 5-0 with a strike in the 88th minute. Izzy O'Hagan found the back of the net to record her second marker of the season while Zoe Curtaz provided the assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Mackenzie Quick (Barrington, N.H.) finished with 14 saves in her second start of the season between the posts.
- Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) fired Eastern Nazarene's lone shot attempt on the night
- Lesley concluded the match with 46 shots and seven corner kicks.

With the semifinal loss, Eastern Nazarene concludes the 2022 campaign with a 2-13-2 overall record.
