Women’s Soccer Earns Three All-NECC Selections
MANSFIELD, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team collected three All-New England Collegiate Conference nods, announced the league office Thursday. Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.), Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.), and Rachel Pieger (Oakville, Conn.) garnered All-NECC accolades while Dorn also earned a spot on the NECC Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team.
Dorn ranked second on the team with points, tallying four goals and chalking up one assist on the fall. In conference action, she recorded one assist.
Lee ranked second on the squad with nine points, scoring four goals and adding one assist. In league play, she notched a team-high three goals.
Pieger claimed her second-straight All-NECC selection after pacing the Lions with 11 points on the year. She netted a team-high four goals and dished out a team-best three assists while also anchoring the defensive unit.
Eastern Nazarene compiled a 2-12-2 overall record and finished the regular season with a 0-4-2 mark in conference play. The Lions grabbed the No. 4 seed in the NECC Tournament and will travel to top-seeded Lesley in the semifinal round November 3.
