Women’s Soccer Triumphs at Rivier 3-2 for First Win
NASHUA, N.H.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team edged Rivier 3-2 to collect its first victory of the season Friday night. Beatriz de Oliveira Segato (Malden, Mass.), Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.), and Rachel Pieger (Oakville, Conn.) all scored for the Lions in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The hosts snagged a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute. Olivia Maxwell netted her first goal of the season while Elizabeth Chauvette picked up an assist.
- The visitors responded with a strike in the 12th minute to pull even at 1-1. Jordan Lee (Hampden, Mass.) buried her first collegiate goal as Deeana Castro (Boise, Idaho) chalked up her first assist of the year.
- Eastern Nazarene grabbed a 2-1 edge in the 26th minute. Rachel Pieger (Oakville, Conn.) scored her team-leading third tally of the fall.
- Rivier equalized in the 35th minute to knot the match at 2-2. Kaylee Magoon found the back of the net for her first marker of the season off of a feed from Elisabeth Jacob.
- The Lions reclaimed a one-goal advantage in the 54th minute, 3-2. Beatriz de Oliveira Segato (Malden, Mass.) bagged her first tally of the year for the go-ahead score.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Goalkeeper Jasmine Arzu (Bronx, N.Y) finished with five saves to record her first win of the year between the pipes.
- Eastern Nazarene manufactured 19 shots on the night while Rivier finished with 13 shot attempts.
- The result marks head coach Jim Lipocky's first victory with the Lions.
