Women’s Soccer Garners United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team collected its seventh United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award after posting a team grade-point average of 3.34 in the 2019-20 academic year.
"We emphasize working hard as a team in all that we do, and that means not just on the soccer field, but in the classroom as well. I could not be more proud of the effort these young women put into their academics. They set the standard high, but continually push to be even better," commented head coach Esther Webb.
Eastern Nazarene received the award four straight years from 2011-14 and repeated in 2018 after claiming the honor in 2017.
A total of 569 collegiate women's soccer programs across the nation were recognized for their academic success in 2019-20, including just three New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) teams.
