Kyera Bryant Earns All-CCC Women’s Soccer Third Team Honors
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Senior Kyera Bryant (Guilford, Conn.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team has been named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference third team, as announced by the league office Friday.
Bryant started all 18 matches this fall as she saw time at goalkeeper, defender, and forward.
She dished out two assists this season while also compiling a 4-3-0 record between the pipes with three shutouts to her credit. Bryant appeared in eight games this year as a goalkeeper and collected 48 saves.
"Kyera has served the team in multiple roles this season playing forward, goalkeeper and more recently center back as a result of multiple injuries. Her attitude and motivation to accept any role is admirable, and a big part of the reason we were able to keep games competitive," commented first-year head coach George Arroyo. "She's a tough competitor and I'm proud of Kyera for her accomplishment. Her work ethic, leadership and personality will be greatly missed on and off the field."
The Lions posted a 6-12-0 overall record in 2017 to go with a 1-8-0 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
