
Jules Speno Picks Up NSCAA All-New England Third Team Accolades
KANSAS CITY, Kan.- Senior Jules Speno (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's soccer team has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England third team.
Speno becomes the first player in program history to receive NSCAA All-New England recognition.
Speno collected her third career All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honor this fall as she was tabbed to the All-CCC first team for the second time. The senior midfielder was also selected to participate in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl December 6.
Speno ranked second on the squad with 12 points during the 2014 campaign and started 19 of the 20 matches in which she saw action. She tallied five goals and added a pair of assists this season for the Lions.
Speno ranks second all-time in program history with 39 career goals and owns the program record with 14 career assists. Her 92 career points matched the program's all-time record held by Kara Webber '11.
Speno helped Eastern Nazarene to a 9-10-2 overall record and a 6-3-0 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference this season. The Lions reached the CCC semifinals for the second time in the past three years while also earning their second-straight ECAC Tournament berth.
