Women’s Basketball Stymied at SUNY Cobleskill in Regular-Season Finale

COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team absorbed a 93-47 loss at SUNY Cobleskill in the final regular-season contest Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• SUNY Cobleskill owned a 29-8 lead through one quarter of action.
• The Fighting Tigers poured in 24 points while the Lions managed eight points in the second period as the home side held a 53-16 advantage at the halftime break.
• SUNY Cobleskill outscored Eastern Nazarene 21-16 in the third to widen its margin to 64-32 heading to the final frame.
• The hosts netted 19 points in the fourth quarter while the visitors produced 15 points as SUNY Cobleskill capped off its 13th-straight win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:             

• Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) tallied a team-high 10 points.
• Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) notched eight points and four assists.
• Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) finished with seven points and eight rebounds.
• Sabanna Berrios (Providence, R.I.) posted six points and six boards while Ahidali DeHuelbes (Tucson, Ariz.) added four points, four rebounds, and four assists.
• Eastern Nazarene shot 21.9% from the floor and 30% from three-point range.
• SUNY Cobleskill posted a field-goal percentage of 44.4% to go with 7-for-23 shooting from behind the arc.
• Logan Thayne recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards to lead the Fighting Tigers. Antonia May chipped in with 14 points, eight boards, and five blocks.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Eastern Nazarene claimed the No. 3 seed in the North Atlantic Conference West Division and will face second-seeded SUNY Canton in the NAC Tournament Quarterfinals February 16.
