Women’s Basketball Stumbles at Salem State
SALEM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team suffered an 86-75 setback at Salem State Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salem State held a narrow 23-22 edge after 10 minutes of action.
- The Vikings pushed their lead to 40-35 at the half after outscoring the Lions 17-13 in the second period.
- The home team sported a 67-52 advantage as it chalked up 27 points while the guests produced 17 points in the third.
- Despite Eastern Nazarene finishing with a 23-19 edge in fourth-quarter scoring, Salem State earned an 86-75 victory.

- Sabanna Berrios (Providence, R.I.) netted a team-high 13 points to go with seven rebounds.
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) scored 12 points and registered five steals.
- Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) notched 10 points and dished out seven assists.
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) poured in 12 points while Molly Smith (Hudson, N.H.) finished with 10 points off the bench.
- Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) collected 15 boards to go with six assists and four points.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 38.5% from the floor and 19.2% from three-point distance on the night.
- Salem State finished the game with a field-goal percentage of 50% to go with 40% shooting from beyond the arc.
- Ernidia Goncalves racked up a game-best 27 points and 21 rebounds to lead the home side. Abuk Teng scored 25 points while Kylie Gates chipped in with 13 points and 11 assists. Nicole D'Itria also recorded a double-double in the contest with 11 points and 12 boards off the bench.
