Women’s Basketball Clipped at Clark, 70-67
WORCESTER, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team absorbed a narrow 70-67 loss at Clark Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clark clung to a slim 23-22 edge at the conclusion of the first quarter.
- The Cougars sported a 35-32 advantage at the half after outscoring the Lions 12-10 in the second frame.
- Eastern Nazarene chalked up 26 points in the third while the home side generated 23 points as the two teams headed to the fourth quarter deadlocked at 58-58.
- Jacqueline Faulise banked in a layup and drilled a trey in the final minute to vault Clark ahead 70-65 with 14 seconds remaining in regulation
- The visitors cut the deficit to 70-67 on a basket by Sabanna Berrios (Providence, R.I.) in the final seconds as Clark eked out its third victory in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) poured in a season-high 17 points and posted six steals.
- Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) finished with 10 points, seven steals, four rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.
- Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) netted 10 points and hauled in nine boards while Molly Smith (Hudson, N.H.) chipped in with nine points off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene posted a field-goal percentage of 37.3% in the game and connected on 8-of-23 from beyond the arc.
- Clark shot 36.2% from the floor and 29.4% from three-point territory on the day.
- Jacqueline Faulise notched a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Cougars while Kailey Rios tallied 12 points and Catherine Antwi added 10 points off the bench.
