Women’s Basketball Rolls Past Vermont State Johnson, 88-57
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team breezed by Vermont State Johnson 88-57 Friday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center to notch its first North Atlantic Conference win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After opening the game with a 12-0 run, Eastern Nazarene raced out to a 27-5 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter.
- The Lions poured in 27 points in the second frame while Vermont State Johnson produced 18 points as the hosts sported a 54-23 advantage at the halftime break.
- Both squads chalked up 16 points in the third period as the home side carried a 70-39 lead into the fourth.
- Eastern Nazarene wrapped up its first league victory as each team scored 18 points in the fourth quarter.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alexandria Paquet (Santa Maria, Calif.) scored a team-best 18 points to go with four steals.
- Eva Graf (Mather, Calif.) netted 10 points and hauled in eight boards.
- Molly Smith (Hudson, N.H.) tallied a career-high 10 points in her second-straight start.
- Jovanna Oliva (Miami, Fla.) chipped in with eight points off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene finished the game with a field-goal percentage of 46.5% and drained 6-of-20 from long range.
- Vermont State Johnson shot 34% from the floor and 45.5% from beyond the arc on the evening.
- Gabby Wardwell notched a game-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the visitors while Sasha Khomutetsky poured in 20 points off the bench.
