Women’s Basketball Endures 81-74 Loss to Emerson
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team fell to Emerson 81-74 Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene erased an early 12-8 deficit with a 12-2 run in the final five minutes of the first quarter to hold a 20-14 lead heading into the second frame.
- The home side clung to a 42-38 advantage at the break after the visitors finished with a 24-22 edge in second-period scoring.
- Emerson outscored Eastern Nazarene 23-18 in the third to sport a narrow 61-60 lead at the start of the fourth quarter.
- The guests widened the gap to double-figures with 1:54 remaining in regulation on a pair of free throws by Mackenzie Bruno, 78-68.
- Emerson converted 3-of-6 free throw attempts in the final minute to secure an 81-74 win and snap a three-game skid.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ashley Quigley (Fields Landing, Calif.) netted 15 points to go with nine boards and four steals in her first start of the year.
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) also finished with 15 points on the night.
- Alondra Jimenez (Santa Barbara, Calif.) registered her fifth double-double of the season as she tallied 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) chipped in with 14 points while Michala O'Donoghue (San Bruno, Calif.) added eight points and eight boards.
- Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 47.1% while draining 6-of-17 from beyond the arc.
- Emerson shot 40.3% from the floor and 33.3% from three-point range on the night.
- Three players finished with double-doubles in the game for Emerson. Chelsea Gibbons notched 21 points and 11 rebounds while Devin Hill recorded 21 points and 10 boards. Ella Bushee also contributed with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
