Cross Country Squads Run at Mass. Maritime Invitational Friday

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 15th Annual Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational hosted by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Friday afternoon.

The Lions' men's team placed fourth in the six-team field.

Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) paced Eastern Nazarene with a fourth-place finish, traversing the course in 29:40.55.

Ryan Polsgrove (Quincy, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 30:45.16 to earn eighth.

Kyandre Martinez (Brockton, Mass.) posted a time of 34:43.43 while Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.) and Seth Folk (Hollywood, Md.) also represented the Lions in the race.

Elizabeth Gillis (Westford, Mass.), Eastern Nazarene's lone runner in the women's 5K, clocked in with a mark of 27:48.00.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will head to the Keene State Invitational October 5.
