Cross Country Teams Run at Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday

WENHAM, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College's men's and women's cross country teams raced at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday morning.

The Lions were represented by four men and a pair of women at the meet.

Robert Gorman (Ellington, Conn.) led Eastern Nazarene in the men's 8K race with a season-best time of 32:59 to grab 36th overall. Ryan Polsgrove (Quincy, Mass.) finished 40th with a mark of 33:33.

Joseph Merrigan (Quincy, Mass.) posted a season-best time while Seth Folk (Hollywood, Md.) also represented the Lions.

On the women's side, Kiara Miller (Warren, Pa.) crossed the finish line in 33:28 in her first collegiate race while Elizabeth Gillis (Westford, Mass.) also ran for Eastern Nazarene.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene will run at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Invitational September 27.
