Men’s Volleyball Blanks Bard, 3-0

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team breezed by Bard 3-0 Saturday afternoon in the final regular-season road match.

THE BASICS:
Score: Eastern Nazarene 3, Bard 0
Records: Lions (13-6, 4-1 NEVC) | Raptors (8-15, 1-4 NEVC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The visitors captured the first frame 25-18 to seize a 1-0 lead.
• Eastern Nazarene cruised to a 25-14 win in the second set to widen the margin to 2-0.
• The Lions prevailed 25-17 in the third to seal their fourth-consecutive conference victory.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, P.R.) tallied a match-best 16 kills to go with eight digs and a pair of service aces.
• Jacob Zarges (Quincy, Mass.) posted 10 kills, five digs, and three aces.
• Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) finished with nine digs and seven kills.
• Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 23 assists and Christopher Gil (Lawrence, Mass.) added 12 assists.
• Ben Davis notched a team-high seven kills for Bard while Lincoln Grisso registered five kills.
