Men’s Volleyball Notches 3-1 Victory at Regis
WESTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team collected a 3-1 win at Regis (Mass.) Thursday evening.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene secured a 25-20 win in the first frame to grab a 1-0 edge.
- The Lions prevailed 25-19 in the second to double their advantage to 2-0.
- Regis responded with a 25-16 victory in the third set to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- The visitors captured the fourth frame 25-17 to chalk up their second win of the season over the Pride.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, P.R.) racked up a match-best 21 kills to go with seven digs and five aces.
- Ian Pacheco (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) recorded his first career double-double, finishing with 10 kills and 10 digs.
- Nathan Jacques (Casselberry, Fla.) posted 35 assists, eight digs, and five kills.
- Santiago Gerardi (Coral Springs, Fla.) registered career-highs with five kills and five digs.
- Fernando Paredes (Passaic, N.J.) recorded a team-best 13 digs on the night.
- Joseph Perez paced Regis with 16 kills and added 10 digs. Tyrell Bucasas notched a double-double with 29 assists and 12 digs while Marcello Cappuccio chipped in with a match-high 15 digs.
