QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's volleyball team posted a 3-1 victory over Regis Thursday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.
The Lions improve to 5-6 on the year with the win while the Pride falls to 3-5 overall with the outcome.
Alejandro Garcia Fernandez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) finished with a match-high 27 kills to go with four aces and four digs. Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) notched nine kills and nine digs. Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) registered 33 assists and nine digs.
The visitors cruised to a 25-14 victory in the opening set to grab a 1-0 edge.
The home team responded with a 25-17 win in the second frame to level the contest at 1-1.
Eastern Nazarene claimed a 2-1 advantage with a 25-19 decision in the third.
The Lions locked up their fourth-consecutive victory with a 25-20 win in the fourth set.
Matt Ferrara tallied a team-best 10 kills while Kostea Andreenko recorded nine kills. Brendan Lam dished out 17 assists and Tyrell Bucasas chipped in with 10 assists.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene will face Emmanuel and Mount St. Vincent February 12.
