Bryan Vargas Tabbed to All-North Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Third Team

WATERVILLE, Maine- Senior Bryan Vargas (San Jose, Costa Rica) of the Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team earned All-North Atlantic Conference third team honors, as the league office announced its end-of-season awards Thursday. Freshman Gabriel Viau (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) was also named to the North Atlantic Conference Sportsmanship Team.

Vargas appeared in 16 matches this fall and registered 12 points. He scored five goals and added a pair of assists. In conference action, Vargas recorded two goals and one assist in seven matches.

Eastern Nazarene concluded the 2023 season with a 5-7-5 overall record and posted a 3-1-3 mark in North Atlantic Conference play. The Lions grabbed the No. 3 seed in the NAC West Division Tournament and fell to second-seeded SUNY Delhi 2-1 in the NAC Tournament opening round.
