Men’s Soccer Posts 0-0 Draw at SUNY Canton

CANTON, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team played to a scoreless stalemate at SUNY Canton Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Both squads had one shot ring off the woodwork in the match but neither side was able to find the back of the net.
• Eastern Nazarene produced eight shots and a pair of corner kicks in the opening half while limiting SUNY Canton to just one shot attempt.
• The Lions managed six shot attempts in the second stanza while the Roos fired five shots.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Gabriel Viau (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) made his eighth-straight start between the pipes and finished with one save en route to registering his third clean sheet.
• Eastern Nazarene owned a 14-6 advantage in shots and a 3-1 margin in corner kicks earned on the day.
• Emilio Magdon (Mexico City, Mexico) tallied a team-high three shots while Julian Calvo (Escazu, Costa Rica), Nils Hesmer (Herrenburg, Germany), and Carlos Moya (Oviedo, Spain) all added two shots.
