Men’s Soccer Rolls Past Vermont State Johnson, 3-0

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team collected a 3-0 victory at Vermont State Johnson Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The visitors seized a 1-0 lead in the 24th minute. Dan Hill (Tewkesbury, England) bagged his team-leading sixth goal of the campaign with a right-footed strike.
  • Eastern Nazarene doubled its advantage to 2-0 in the 47th minute. Nico Kaczmarczyk (Blickstedt, Germany) netted his first tally of the season while Aitor Iakovlev (Moralzarzal, Spain) recorded his second assist of the year.
  • The Lions tacked on their third score of the contest in the 80th minute as Emilio Magdon (Mexico City, Mexico) poked in his second goal of the fall.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Gabriel Viau (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) registered a clean sheet in his first collegiate start between the posts.
  • Eastern Nazarene racked up a season-high 31 shots while limiting Vermont State Johnson to just two attempts.
