QUINCY, Mass.- The top-seeded Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 2 seed New England College Saturday night in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament championship match at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene and New England College headed into the halftime intermission deadlocked at 0-0 after the Lions held a 9-3 edge in shots through 45 minutes of action.
- The Pilgrims chalked up the go-ahead goal in the 83rd minute to snag a 1-0 lead. Joaquin Sanchez-Korenfeld headed in his team-leading seventh tally of the season off of a corner kick by Robenson Saintil.

- Antonio Soto Valente (Maracaibo, Venezuela) recorded a pair of saves in his 10th start of the year.
- Eastern Nazarene finished the match with 17 shot attempts and six corner kicks.
