Univ. of New England Storms Past Men’s Lacrosse Saturday
NORTH QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's lacrosse team dropped a 22-4 decision to the University of New England on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Creedon Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The visitors erupted for nine goals out of the gate to sport a 9-0 lead after the first quarter of action.
- Eastern Nazarene got on the board in the second frame, scoring three goals while the University of New England tallied five in the period to hold a 14-3 advantage at the midway break.
- The Nor'easters chalked up five markers in the third while the Lions buried one goal as the guests extended their lead to 19-4.
- The University of New England tacked on three goals in the fourth quarter to wrap up its fifth consecutive victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jamar Griggs (Stamford, Conn.) came off the bench to pour in three goals, including a pair of man-up scores.
- Matt Cawthorne (Norwell, Mass.) notched one goal and added an assist to go with a team-high five ground balls.
- Devano Clarke (Lucea, Jamaica) picked up his team-leading sixth assist of the year while collecting five ground balls.
- Xavier Depina (Whitman, Mass.) finished with a team-best five caused-turnovers while scooping five ground balls on the day.
- Goalie Walter Stockwell (Hyde Park, Mass.) recorded 15 saves in his fifth start of the spring.
- Eastern Nazarene managed 19 shots on the afternoon while the University of New England attempted a season-high 51 shots.
- The University of New England featured 13 different goal-scorers in the contest. Joe O'Keefe paced the Nor'easters with three goals and a pair of assists while Andrew Lawrence posted two goals and three assists. Collin Jackson also finished with three tallies in the game.
