Men’s Lacrosse Upended by Regis Wednesday
NORTH QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's lacrosse team suffered an 11-1 setback to Regis (Mass.) Wednesday evening at Creedon Field.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both squads chalked up one goal in the first quarter with Eastern Nazarene's Matt Cawthorne (Norwell, Mass.) burying his third tally of the season to level the game.
- Regis (Mass.) scored three goals in the second period to grab a 4-1 lead at the halftime break.
- The Pride tacked on four goals in the third to widen the margin to 8-1.
- The visitors manufactured three tallies in the fourth quarter to lock up their second all-time win over the Lions.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Matt Cawthorne (Norwell, Mass.) netted the Lions' lone goal in the contest and finished with a team-high seven ground balls.
- Devano Clarke (Lucea, Jamaica) collected seven ground balls and caused three turnovers.
- Netminder Walter Stockwell (Hyde Park, Mass.) registered 14 saves to go with four ground balls in his fourth start of the year between the pipes.
- Eastern Nazarene fired 24 shots while Regis (Mass.) concluded the contest with 35 attempts.
- Anthony Marsella paced the Pride with two goals and three assists on the night. Brendan Cook notched two goals and two assists while Nate Arsenault and Nick Klein both chipped in with a pair of goals.
