Strong Finish Propels Men’s Basketball to 70-63 Win at SUNY Canton
CANTON, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team used a 16-0 run in the final five minutes to earn a 70-63 victory at SUNY Canton Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene sported a narrow 34-33 halftime lead after Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) tossed a layup at the buzzer to end the first frame.
- After a tight opening 10 minutes of the second stanza, SUNY Canton strung together a 12-2 run to seize a 63-54 advantage with 4:47 remaining.
- The visitors jumped ahead 64-63 on a bucket by Elijah Bishop (St. Louis, Mo.) with 1:46 left to play.
- The Lions finished the contest with 16 unanswered points to capture a 70-63 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) scored a game-high 24 points to go with four assists.
- Elijah Bishop (St. Louis, Mo.) netted 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench.
- Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) notched 11 points and six boards.
- Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) tallied eight points and hauled in 13 rebounds.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 36.9% from the floor and connected on 8-of-27 from three-point range.
- SUNY Canton finished with a field-goal percentage of 33.3% to go with a 20% clip from behind the arc.
- Kevin Goode Jr. paced the Roos with 17 points while Eli Larson recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
