Men’s Basketball Drops 82-70 Decision to Lesley
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team absorbed an 82-70 loss to Lesley in non-conference action Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene claimed a 16-point lead with 5:30 remaining in the first half on a trey by Joey Hanlon (Pembroke, Mass.), 35-19.
- After Lesley cut the deficit to four late in the opening frame, Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) sank a floater at the halftime horn to push the Lions' advantage to 41-35 at the break.
- The home side regained a double-digit margin, 49-39, on a three-pointer by Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) with 16:42 left to play in the second stanza.
- The Lynx clawed back to seize a 59-54 edge with 9:51 to go in the contest as Tarell Joseph knocked down a trey.
- A corner-three followed by a layup by Fahad Tarjali (Amman, Jordan) vaulted Eastern Nazarene into the lead with 5:06 remaining, 63-61.
- Lesley responded with 10 straight points to grab a 71-63 advantage with 2:34 on the clock and outscored the Lions 21-7 in the final five minutes to lock up its first victory over Eastern Nazarene since 2011.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Fahad Tarjali (Amman, Jordan) poured in a season-high 15 points off the bench while collecting seven rebounds.
- Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) finished with 11 points.
- Joey Hanlon (Pembroke, Mass.) netted 10 points and dished out four assists while Sammuel Prosper (Hyde Park, Mass.) recorded 10 points and six boards.
- Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) chipped in with eight points and a game-high nine rebounds.
- Eastern Nazarene finished with a field-goal percentage of 39.4% to go with 8-for-27 shooting from long distance.
- Lesley shot 44.6% from the floor and 46.2% from three-point territory.
- Christian Castro scored a game-best 24 points and added five assists while Tarell Joseph notched 17 points and six assists.

Eastern Nazarene travels to SUNY Canton January 19.
