Men’s Basketball Stumbles at SUNY Morrisville, 98-93
MORRISVILLE, N.Y.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team wrapped up a weekend series at SUNY Morrisville with a 98-93 setback Saturday.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both sides scored 52 points in the first frame to head into the halftime break deadlocked at 52-52.
- Eastern Nazarene erased a seven-point deficit with a 7-0 run, capped off by a trey from Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) with 1:25 remaining in regulation to knot the contest at 90-90.
- SUNY Morrisville responded with a three-pointer by Jakhi Lucas to seize a 93-90 edge with 1:00 left to play.
- After the Mustangs tacked on a free throw to widen the gap to 94-90, the Lions cut the deficit to 94-93 on a three-pointer by Sammuel Prosper (Hyde Park, Mass.) with 36 seconds on the clock.
- The home side locked up its seventh-straight win as Jakhi Lucas banked in a layup before Shaheem Sanders sank two free throws late in the game.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Kobe Jones (Picayune, Miss.) poured in a season-best 24 points while adding seven rebounds and four assists.
- Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) netted 21 points and Sammuel Prosper (Hyde Park, Mass.) tallied 20 points off the bench.
- Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) posted his fifth double-double of the year, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 boards.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 47.3% from the floor and 44.4% from three-point territory.
- SUNY Morrisville concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 52.1% while connecting on 8-of-16 from long distance.
- Shaheem Sanders paced the Mustangs with a game-high 26 points off the bench while Jakhi Lucas scored 19 points and dished out nine assists.

Eastern Nazarene returns home to face Framingham State December 11.
