Men’s Hoops Suffers 84-69 Setback to SUNY Canton
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team absorbed an 84-69 loss to SUNY Canton Saturday afternoon at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- SUNY Canton claimed a double-digit lead with 11:57 left to play in the first half, 23-13, as Eli Larson tossed in a layup.
- Eastern Nazarene cut the deficit to 35-31 on a put-back layup by Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) with 3:54 on the clock in the opening frame.
- After the Roos stretched their advantage to 11 points, the Lions' Kobe Jones (Picayune, Miss.) drilled a trey in the final minute of the half to narrow the halftime gap to 42-34.
- The visitors outscored the home side 42-35 in the second stanza to clinch their first conference win of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed eight boards.
- Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) notched 13 points and added four rebounds.
- Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) chipped in with 10 points and three steals while JT Rosier (Miami, Fla.) finished with 10 points off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 41.3% from the floor and connected on 3-of-19 from beyond the arc.
- SUNY Canton finished with a field-goal percentage of 56.4% to go with a 43.8% clip from three-point range.
- Bryon Streb paced the Roos with 18 points while Eli Larson tallied 16 points. Kevin Goode Jr. chipped in with 15 points off the bench and Jevonte Williams added 12 points.
