Men’s Hoops Posts Dominant 95-53 Win Over Lesley on Senior Day
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team stormed past Lesley 95-53 Saturday afternoon at the Lahue Athletic Center on Senior Day.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The home side sprung out to an 11-1 lead five minutes into the contest.
- Eastern Nazarene engineered a 13-0 run spanning over four minutes to widen the margin to 26-7.
- The Lions extended their advantage to 35-13 with 1:50 left to play in the first half on a bucket by Kobe Jones (Picayune, Miss.).
- JaWaun Moore (Dayton, Ohio) drilled a turn-around jumper in the waning seconds of the opening period as Eastern Nazarene carried a 37-16 lead into the halftime intermission.
- The hosts chalked up the first eight points of the second stanza to stretch the gap to 45-16.
- Senior Ryan Polsgrove (Elkhart, Ind.) made first career appearance and splashed a pair of corner-treys in the final two minutes as the Lions wrapped up their largest margin-of-victory this season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Levi White (Springfield, Mass.) notched his fourth double-double of the season, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 boards.
- Kobe Jones (Picayune, Miss.) tallied 14 points eight rebounds, and four assists off the bench.
- Nick Manso (Brick, N.J.) poured in 11 points, gathered nine boards, and dished out five assists.
- JaWaun Moore (Dayton, Ohio) finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists while Isaac Padilla (El Paso, Texas) also netted 10 points on the day.
- Devano Clarke (Lucea, Jamaica) chipped in with a career-high nine points and two steals in his first career start.
- Eastern Nazarene concluded the game with a field-goal percentage of 46.9% while draining 14-of-40 three-point attempts.
- Lesley shot 28.6% from the floor and 21.2% from beyond the arc on the afternoon.
- Taaj Thomas paced the Lynx with 18 points while Eli Johnson chipped in with 11 points.
SENIOR DAY FESTIVITIES:
Prior to the start of the game, the Eastern Nazarene men's basketball program recognized its senior class. Varsity seniors Devano Clarke, Nick Manso, Ryan Polsgrove, and Levi White along with student assistant coach Will Zarges, and junior varsity seniors Nick Thibeau, and Jorge Villegas were all honored for their dedication and commitment to the program.
